Whats going on ?!

Well I just ordered Defiance collectors edition and was so excited when it came today, But after the long downloads i get it but for some reason the texture models are missing, No audio, The User-interface is not working properly. I dashboard restart and it starts up fine again it seems to be working until i get a 2-4 second freeze and then it happens again. Player models missing, No audio, The enemy's show up on the map but their invisible and dealing damage to me. I've been dash boarding the past hour and now its just gets stuck loading the damn thing

Welcome to Defiance it has been a lot worse since the last patch. Yours sounds really rougt though. I was just reading this oard and actually my game did play better before the last 2 patches. My char can not speak anymore, no clan chat and invisible enemies or ones that do not move until you shoot.. No idea what has gone wrong. Try the live chat it seems to be where most people get a response.

Well it seems to be working "Fine" now the only problem now is random texture that are just black, Like all the vehicals and random rocks/trees/growth/etc.... just are a black colour but hey atleast its working right?!

Mine did go bright purple for a while I took screenshots but it also froze menus on top of it which made it unplayable.
Sounds like you need to get on to live support. I have a rough time when I started playing but none of the render issues and major bugs came till I had to do a first major patch.

Have you checked your basics and not been condescending but if you don't play other online games with no issue. Run a pingtest, jitter, check router etc people and support will ask that first :P I am pretty sure most people who come and post in here are aware if its a problem on their end for the most part.

You may also want to try deleting the patches and redoing them will be a pain but I know it worked for some people.
