That would be -former- executive producer Nathan Richardsson. He also back in the 1st week after launch of the game in April said the DLC would be coming after the first 2 fix patches to fix bugs and other issues plaguing the game(some of which never was put into those patches and came from alpha where we reported it pretty lengthily.... and still is in game to date).

I'm looking forward to having dual charge blades, that would really look awesome! (looks at avatar) Well dual charge blades with 1/2 damage from the usual then can land more hits on proper timing.

because that's the only thing most of these ppl care about, most know whats has been said about the #1 DLC, and out of them, all of them want a date..

Nathan is no longer with trion or on Defiance?

These new weapons and truck you speak of, will they be OP and need nerf's?

How will ppl be able to use this truck, that's suppose to have a turrent on it, how will they be able to use it at arkfalls and not annoy other players?

like what happened months ago, where trion nerfed our quads and other vehicles, making them so weak that a lot of my friends gave up on this game at that point forever, it was fun running around on lvl 20 quads, you know how long that takes to achieve without using a glitch?

is these kinds of questions why there is no date yet for DLC or,

Are we just ants in a ant farm, where trion is learning as they go?
Which shouldn't be the case, because of the past experience with Rift..

Why do the Mods or Dm's not interact with us in these kind of threads? You will monitor them and close them, but wont interact with your own community, only to nerf items to try and make the mass stop crying..

theres a lot of why's and not any answers, or even interaction between us and you..

On twitter these managers and devs, mods, dms, interact with us.. sometimes I wonder if a select few of, who are not biased towards things like pvp and die'n at the hands of another player using any kind of weapon, maybe there would have been more input from us, that was actually implemented into the game by now..

with the lay off's, the random core changes and just not much out of trion about the defiance end of business, it just leaves a lot of ppl in the dark and wondering..

well, the ones that have actually stayed around and tried to deal with all this and not just chalked it up as a,

'oh well, I will put this game up on the shelf with all my other ones and let it collect dust'

guess this is why companys like EA and Blizzard don't interact much with its fans either, they do, but its rare.

to many babys to feed and give milk to, guess next everyone will be crying about the dets everyone is spamming now in pvp, nerf that for the 90th time..

interaction with us in these threads should be important, not a echo..

Its been almost four months since game launced, August 2nd will be the marker.Still you want to dicuss something we want to play. Now I purchased the season pass with great expectations only to be let down. In no way will Trion have all 5 DLC packs out before the years end, which is false advertisement and grounds for either a friendly refund or a civil court refund by years end. Me and many others gave up on this game as many should.

The reason the release date isn't announced yet is because if they give an approximation and don't meet it for an unforseen reason, then all you whiners will just flood the forums again. Be patient. All good things come in due time. Those with real concerns, thanks for keeping things in perspective and asking questions with genuine thirst for knowledge.

Do you know how poorly this has been received? People are trying to be constructive but you delete and close threads even when posters are well mannered and offering help. Do you really want our feedback and if you do is anyone actually paying attention. The move in the past month have been a long sounding death for this game.

Yes there is new people joining I have run into some. I am also seeing people who have played from launch reach breaking point, someone left the game who I NEVER thought would stop playing; they were one of your biggest fans. Since the patch changes all you hear is clan and social not fixed yet? no new content yet? man this game is getting boring? So why would you speak up and say something positive only to get laughed at.

This DLC was what people were hanging on to for their new hope not just for fun and playablity many would play anyway but also because the fact that you were bringing out this amazing content and charge shields and the massive siege monolith events, was the reason they kept telling their friends to wait and encouraging thm to get excited about the DLC.

The level 1000 ego cap was also a very poor decision and a major part of why people are now more rabid about wanting the DLC and why many long term players are bored due to no longer working to get perk slots, and balancing their huge ark salvage costs. It does not impact the level 4000 - 5000 ego so much but those from 2000 to that point it does.

Now people do not even bother to bring it up because you stopped doing it. it feels like a deliberate attempt to avoid solid answers on the DLC, no one has dates or timelines and you are making your biggest fans feel less confident in saying just wait the new content is going to be so awesome because they no longer get positive feedback either.

I am still hoping too Trion if you are listening. You need to start telling people what is going on, stop wasting time fixing unbroken issues, and bringing in content and changes that give the games goals again. Censorship is also not working in your favor locking or removing threads does not mean people did not read them. This forum has gone on a massive downturn. Please police the people who are abusive and negative or better yet get proactive and make them happy about the game again or at least reply and say you are listening so they act nicer.

It has been a zoo round here lately and I would never have registered if it was like this when I came here.
I have said it before but this we are not sure yet status quo is not ehlping Defiance you are runing it. Just be honest say whats going on before you lose more supporters.
