I'm very new so please excuse me if this has already been asked but I'm very excited to play this race and heard you can change your characters if you pay for it. I heard they will have a new intro and such but if you class change will you still have access to those? How will it work?

Nobody actually knows for sure. Some say the new story content can only be played as a Castithan, others say you can play it with any race and still get the same rewards, until the Devs clear up the mystery or we get the DLC and check for ourselves we do not actually know.

Correct, though I still haven't bothered gettin the season pass.

Actually one of the interviews with the Devs said that you will be able to play the DLC missions with any species. You might get some slightly different cutscenes in them depending on if you are a Casti or not.

Doubt it, they never gave different cut scenes for human/irathi in the main story or any of the episode missions, don't expect them to do the same for the DLC.

This is from what the Dev Trick Dempsey said during his interview. Yeah, I kinda doubt that it'll happen too tbh, that's why I said it "might" lol.

While our chars stand there saying nothing at all. ME3 has nothing on the epicness of Defiance cut scenes I tells ya!

Based from the E3 video, the Charge blade right click attack animation is too slow. And there are no waves or lines of air that come along with the area attack, making it look like it's a hammering effect instead of a slashing effect.

Furthermore, Charge Blades should be a lot more shinier than just a blue plain sword. They have energy flowing within them, they should not look like cattle prods IMO.

These are one-handed swords. The slash should look crisp and should create some sparks if it was metal or some hellbug chunks if it were bugs. The concept of charging them seems pretty okay but it should look like slashing as if you were at an action movie.

The sad thing is that I heard in an interview that our characters has no facial rigging at all. I think this game sacrificed too much for the multiplatform release.
