So I just downloaded the dlc (Xbox) but it's not showing up in game at all. Suggestions?

You can probably download the "key" for the DLC by paying or with the season pass but you will still have to wait for the content to be available for the unlock after the patch happens which should be done HOPEFULLY at the latest of 4pm EST
If that didn't kill it, we should probably get to running!
Platform: Xbox 360
Name In-game: Talon Grey
Live Tag: LGI Genophage
That's just idiotic imo. Star Wars didn't make you wait to access the new content. Everquest never made you wait. Neither did ffxi. So basically I don't get to play it until tomorrow even though I bought it today. (because I won't be home later) Again, idiotic imo but whatever. Already having buyer's remorse if this is how they treat new content![]()
theres no patch 1.027 up on the server yet on my end and that is the DLC.
Actually, they did technically. They were smart enough to patch in what was needed ahead of time so that as soon as you downloaded, you were good to go. Do you think I had to wait until 4pm to play SW: ToRs expansion? Negative. Why? Because they did the patch the night before. Because they anticipated early birds such as myself wanting to get on as early as possible and dive in. Same story with EQ2 and FFXI. While you might be correct in a sense (because it would be Microsoft's fault for putting it up too early), my point I suppose is that as soon as I downloaded, I was ready to go and play the new content. Trion should've patched this stuff in yesterday or last night in anticipation of Microsoft putting it up as early as they did leading inevitably to some confusion. So honestly, Trion and Microsoft are both to blame here (and any one else that already put it out on their respective markets) I still think it's kinda dumb that you could buy the access from xbl or psn before the content was technically available.
This is Trion's first real video game though, so cut 'em a little slack. With computer games like Rift, they don't have to worry about a third party posting content before it's available.
With that said, I agree. Trion should have planned better. I knew something like this was going to happen.
BOW TO THE WARMASTERSWE JUST GOT TIRED OF DOIN' WHAT YA TOLD US TO DO
While all us PS3 EU players feel robbed... oh I know it is not trions fault, but they could have stated that on an advertisment rather than having it snug deep in forums, fking amatures man.
