Yeah received my copy today too for PS3. Our version doesn't seem to need installing though and the patch it tries to download obviously doesn't work yet.

We also had a similar offer for 30-day free Playstation Plus trial, which I didn't know about but the code doesn't work. Man it's frustrating, like someone said we are the proud owners of a beautiful £40 paper weight for the next 5 long days.

I just got defiance! it came through the mail just.
I pre-ordered from GAME UK, and now have it...

This is for XBOX

I havnt played it yet, because im installing it as i speak/type.

I will post here if the servers are up, or not (just hoping they are)

The things i do know is that the code you use for the standard pre-order bonuses is on the back of the manual, and the manual is only 11 pages. On pages 6-7 there is like this poster type thing, but in the book, and not loose.

The instructions to redeem the code, and unlock the 'my ego' is on the back of the manual

when you start up the game, it asks you to install the game. It has images in the background. It takes about 7 mins.

I will not spoil anything else.

Actually, (as someone else pointed out earlier) there's a story for this. During an interview one of the developers mentioned that Microsoft didn't have this specific listing (showing that the game supported that many players) for the XBOX yet and one had to be created just for Defiance. So, the developers were kind of excited about that too.

Anyway, I'd love to look at the manual. I hope they put a PDF version up soon.

Snap I got it aswell for Game (UK), damn shame we cannot play it though. I've been desperate to get back on this game, its like a dilema I've got it but cannot play it. I wonder if the release date of 2nd April is universal to all regions, or will certain regions get it a day earlier.

It sucks either way as I cannot play it.
