GMG Game redeemable on Steam?

Did anyone who bought the game from GMG, able to redeem the code through steam? Or will I have to download the client from the website? Thanks

non steam orders of defiance cannot be redeemed on steam. ofc like all games you can add non steam game for the overlay etc.


you redeem all non trion direct order codes through your trion account. once you do that youwill have a tab in your manage games drop down saying "defiance PC", with a big download button front and center.
