I am confused as to why they sent me a beta code finally on the day they close the servers. I was really happy up until the the servers down message showed up. Why hand out codes for a closed game, just a little strange thats all.

People aren't going to get banned for loading up the game early. It's clearly a known issue that some retailers have sent out copies of the game very early and many customers have got their games today. Such an influx in people hitting up the game on the same day would be enough for Microsoft to acknowledge that there has been some kind of error over shipment by retailers, let alone the fact everyone can prove that they legally obtained their copies. If it was just the odd person loading up the game, then sure, Microsoft (or Sony, take your pick) may bring down the ban hammer because that would be suspect - but it's not. So nobody need worry about getting banned.

Sledge already said that the servers were getting turned on midnight EST. But c'mon. Don't be daft, just wait to play. You got yours early, some have to wait til the 12th because of an error. Be glad you actually have it instead of constantly asking for more, as with the beta. And people call the game companies greedy.
Hoping for the best, so I can do my worst.

So you buy access to a MMO that is launched on 2nd April, get the software earlier than the launch date and are now complaining that you can't yet play it?

I got banned once for playing borderlands 1 a day early, so I wouldn't doubt getting banned on this game. Some games they don't care about like COD, because who cares about that game anyways. If you play online you most likely will get banned, playing offline probably not.

Having to wait patiently for another 6 days is only slightly less ridiculous than some of the ideas coming out of some of you guys mouths lol

I think that would take too much time to do, and they really need to focus on tweaking the servers so that it won't lag or will have minimal lag on release.

Honestly I think people who got it early need to relax, and allow them to finish what they have to do. Trion has been really good so far to its community, but I think you may be asking to much on this one. Only a couple more days left, so start pre-strategizing or get some work done early if possible.

I was just saying that I was playing a game earlier then I was suppose to on the xbox, and was banned for doing so. Meaning I know it is possible to get banned for playing early. But to answer your question, I have not played any MMOs seriously mostly because of either subscriptions, or because of my really outdated laptop.
