You are very lucky then, although I don't really believe you. See. I had a friend who got BL2 early. He played it four hours before launch, and was subsequently banned.

Then your friend was playing on a modded console.

Microsoft has stated several times that if you have a legit, retail version of any game, you can't get banned. I'm living proof. I've played games early for as long as I can remember (well at least going back to Call of Duty 4). Have never been banned or suspended. Games generally come out on Tuesdays, and I usually have them the Wednesday prior.

Anyone spewing the "You might get banned" garbage, are using it as a scare tactic... Too bad it's not anywhere near true.

How do you have the game already? Best buy doesn't ship out till the day of release... and thats if it doesn't get held up in their warehouse.

Several stores sell the game early. I'm not sure about best buy selling or shipping it early though. Me for instance, I buy all my games early at this local hobby shop.

I'm glad the servers wont open until tuesday. 1, nobody should have a 3-5 dayhead start on the people who didnt get their copy early due to a retailer shipping before they should. 2, why do people make "open the server early because I'm bored and have a right to play" threads anyway? think if you didnt have the game early you would be just as bored waiting like everybody else. play a different game, go outside and enjoy the sunshine, read a book, play with a lady friend. i for one am thankful for not being one of the ones not getting my copy late like so many others. to me, that's a real reason to be upset

I doubt it's gonna happen I'm afraid - but it is a teeny bit annoying seeing as a large part of the UK that pre-ordered, like myself, have the game early because the main retailer, GAME, has sent them all out already.

Thats because of the easter bank holiday. game is due for release 2nd. Don't for get no post in uk this weekend. holiday!
