5,000 is a good number maybe in later releases you guys can do a max of 10,000

Actually there is a pursuit asking for maxing out your character. You don't need to respec at all since eventually you'll have all powers and all perks.

Edit : @Skydive it's one power and 9 perks PER loadout so you can swap easily

Are you sure it's 9, cause I only recall seeing 7 during the weekend beta, but I do know someone said there are differences between the alpha build and the beta build during the weekend

Not really, all I said was that you shouldn't be able to max your EGO thing out on one character. That would be boring. But yeah, I'm saying you shouldn't be able to just change your character that is focused all on some specific things to then specific to other things. Unless you have lots of Scrip to burn in doing so.

Maybe I've misunderstood, but I thought EGO was per character, not per account. Certainly during the beta if you started a new character the EGO rating for that character was 0. So if the actual game is like that it would imply EGO cap of 5000 points per character.

As an aside, 1200 EGO Rating is available just for completing the current achievement set.
