Defiance PC Pre-Loading - Official

Sledge, will we be preloading via Steam too? I'm assuming if its yes, Steam will preload at midnight on the 2nd?

I have touched on this subject a few times but wanted to let everyone know that we will be unlocking the PC version of the game to allow you to pre-load before launch. We are aiming to start sending PC tokens out Friday evening through Monday evening.

So those who have bought through STEAM would be able to do this as well, or?

Steam only provides the codes. Once you input those codes on your trion account then you can download the game the same as everybody else from your account page.

Well I'm assuming that since he said "PC version" Steam users will qualify, since the Steam version is on PC and all.. But I could be wrong, cause you know, Steam.

Steam you have the option to use the Steam interface and let it download it since it is there under your Library to launch Defiance it's also where you get your keys from or after entering your keys on on your defiance/trion account you can download it separately from them.

But who knows if they will mess it up like they did the beta or what. I just entered my keys and downloaded it from my Trion account and just waiting for them to open it up for patching.

Go to your Library in Steam and then click on the greyed out Defiance(not the beta) and then on the right side there is a Link it says CD Keys you can 1-click copy and then paste it right into your Defiance account.

Unfortunately I am one of those people who doesn't have this option be it a bug or not... dunno.
