i think its just a case of doing anything to update your account like verify email/changing pass etc
confirmed - a password change will initiate the account for pre-load. I'll bet we've found a backdoor instead of waiting for our tokens to be initialized lol
Per-ordered the standard with Steam and applied both CD keys to my Trion account.
Downloaded the launcher from the TrionWorlds site, saw that a few people have been able to patch lately so I thought I'd give it a go and hope for the best.
Patchin' as I type this.
Currently sittin' at .4mbs (3rd world interwebs...) with 2-ish hours to go and just under 17g in the install directory.

most likely, that or they have authorised all accounts with a key to pre-load and just not updated them
This didn't work for me, changed password and still get the message I'm not authorized for Defiance. It does seem to be working for most people though.
1.449730 still the latest, and completely downloaded for me yesterday. 10.4gig
Ralph - Just a guy with a toon for every game worth playing since EQ1.
I'm just going to buy the game from Gamestop when I get home and see if they have an activation code that will allow me to patch up.
