yea i just saw that, i was looking at my own account page just a sec ago and it showed this:

Defiance PC Code Applied PREORDER_PLATFORM_TYPE_PC PREORDER_STEAM

I got two keys, one for pre-order and one for the game itself, ofc the name of it can change according to the website/shop you used.
i guess you still need to get another CD-key for the game itself and that's why you aren't entitled.

if you are getting "you have logged in but your account in not entitled to play defiance" then 9/10 times its because you haven't linked your CD-key towards your Trion Account, i've had this before too, i could just download the game from the website but it would have said that i wasn't entitled to play defiance, after i inserted the CD-Key at apply codes in my account section, the "error" vanished.

I will not get my code until I get my physical box of the game. That's what I'm asking about in this case. I'm getting that error message but do not HAVE a code to enter. I will when I get the box picked up on the day the game can be picked up from Gamestop, which kinda makes the preload period moot. I'll be stuck trying to download any patches instead of just getting to put in the code and play as others will be able to.

I want to preload the game and am aware I cannot PLAY it till I enter the code. Hoping they'll set it up so everyone can get it preloaded, not just the digital copy purchasers.

That just means that your token for preloading hasn't gone out yet. You should still be able to predownload by sometime on Monday. Just try it on Monday and see then.

Ya what worries me most is that Monday will be to late to get any help in getting my account sorted out and i Just saw one of my friends Buy the game Thursday online from Trion and then download it and patch and i got mine like 2-21-2013 and it feels like I am getting ignored when i ask about it. This is the only time that, i have had any kind of negative reaction from Trion i was in the closed beta an alpha both Did my luck run out ?? so far every day twice a day since the 28th iv been checking my account and all i get is the above message Disheartening, & vexing is what it is

Wait for Steam's install button to go live for you, or you can also install the client to the Steam game directory, run from their until the button comes live for you, then verify install and it should recognize it.
