A couple courier questions

I have a couple questions about synergy's on the courier. I have 2 epic couriers one with stalker and one with assassin. Does the courier benefit from either of those before I waste money acquiring mods? i.e. Will the range from stalker make the shells shoot further before detonation or is it always a set amount of time?

Secondly Ive ran across a bug/glitch while having 2 couriers equipped, specifically a green and a purple. If I fire either one it empties the mag on both guns. Now if I equip any other combination of the couriers I own including those 2 they work fine. Anyone heard or seen of this and is there fix?

The range from stalker is falloff range. So that won't affect courier.

The extra crit from assassin will benefit courier if you land the grenades on a crit location.

Sorry - can't remember what the secondary benefits were for these synergies.

I've had the same ammo issue when equipping 2 SAWs.
Never figured out what was causing it or how to fix it sorry.
