Season Pass vs. individual DLC

I been looking around but can't really see a difference... Do you get any extras on the DLC if you own the season pass? Or do you get the exact same thing you'd get if you just bought each individual DLC? I know about the hat, lockbox, and discount on the pass.... I'm talking about extras on the DLC itself

Nope, nothing extra beyond hat, discount, and lockbox. They are the exact same whether bought individually or as part of the Season pass.

Now there is content from the DLC that is FREE, so if you never purchase the Season pass or Individual DLC you will get bits and pieces of the DLC and then can supposedly buy other parts from the shop, but there will be some content that is in-accessible to you, ie. playable casthain race, certain story missions, or perhaps other content.

You guys are forgetting the extra bonus with the season pass:
A year of free Angst while waiting for a release date on the release date of the 1st DLC - Let alone the other 4 after it.

Steam preorder folks get the dlc for $29.99. Even though Im one of those, I honestly am skeptical of it at this point given a few indications of things. I -may- just pay 10 for the individual dlc, if it drops; but I feel we may not see the full 5 come about.

With season passes you normally only get a discount on the overall price and that's all you get with them; other than, of course, the hat etc. That said, there is the possibility that 'extras' could be added similar to that of the hat, lockbox & co. to the DLC after the first one but I wouldn't hold your breath for that.

Really the only benefit to purchasing the season pass over buying portions of it individually is you won't spend as much as you would if you chose to purchase it separately. There are no extras regardless of the method that it's bought.

Yep. This is how I've understood how season passes work for pretty much any video game that offers one.
