what platform i'm on is not relevant to my discussion about private domain, board violations and spamming threads on the same topic.

it was not wrong at the time. at the time the threads were locked and 5 more were created in general, 3 more in 360 forum.

this thread is now sanctioned and being kept alive. the others have been closed. my original point still stands should anyone feel the need to create a new unique forum thread on the very same topic. that is against the forums terms of service.

being the 5th thread in general and 3rd in 360 forum created after the original was locked and after sledge made his post, my point was very relevant. still is should anyone consider making more unique threads on this subject instead of posting in this single, sanctioned thread.

How does the code work that comes with the game to link it to our accounts?

as with all boxed copies of mmorpg's, the code will be inside the box on a small sheet. you enter that onto the trion web page. the code is edition-specific. it's one time use.

it's unclear at this time if you can or must enter the code through yoru console dashboard for those versions. the game and the season pass can be bought directly from the psn at launch according to a sledge post, so it's possible you could enter the code through your xmb if on the ps3 or on your trion account on the web page

I'll knock together a list of questions and edit it in this post, then when Pete gets back on and he's agreeable he can just cut and paste to the first thread.

Questions

1. What is the reason behind the delayed release of the UE/CE editions in various parts of Europe?
2. If I enter a standard edition code, will I be able to redeem an ultimate edition code at a later date?
3. How does the code work to link our accounts with the Trion account (is it generated ingame or on a separate card)?
4. Why was there such short notice of the delay, particularly when it was so close to a long bank holiday weekend and the issues had been raised in Germany several days before?

That is the only major question that needs answering. Can we only link our console once or is it possible to unlink the SE code and link the UE one. That way, those that can't wait 10 extra days can start the game without worrying that it harms their UE bonuses.

Can someone clear this up please?
