Questions

1. What is the reason behind the delayed release of the UE/CE editions in various parts of Europe?
2. If I enter a standard edition code, will I be able to redeem an ultimate edition code at a later date?
3. How does the code work to link our accounts with the Trion account (is it generated ingame or on a separate card)?

Also: Why was there such short notice for the whole situation. I hardly call the last day to pre-order before Easter weekend a good time to announce the delay.

You are correct. You will need to buy the SE of the game to play on release. However some people have got Amazon UK to confirm that you can order from them and then return the game when your UE arrives and get a full refund.

EDIT: You will get the bonuses with the UE, you will NOT need to buy another copy just for the bonuses!! The extra copy is just to play on release.

It's a fair point. Hopefully the UE bonus code is on a separate piece of paper rather than inside the box. That way I can trade in or return a sealed copy. It is risky though.
