Is there any other german Customer? I don't know if anybody else was trying to solve the question, so I thought I share my latest informations I got from the german support.

I was wondering if you could buy the german standart edition of the game on release day, and just "link" the ue codes 2 weeks later when the ultimate edition will arrive (if it is not getting delayed again...). And guess what? The support couldn't tell me if this would work, I mean seriously?

Edit: I've read here or in another thread, that the english support did confirm, that the upgrade from Standard to UE would be possible, that's way this question came into my head.

Actually, I myself import almost 99% of my Console games out of England and I had never some kind of problems before with Code Activation. But as this game is certainly an MMO, I want to be on the safe side, and not wasting roughly 70£ and another 60€ in Germany, just to play 2 weeks and start all over again when I get the UE, because that is what I originally intended to buy.

So, if here is another german Customer and willing to test this on Tuesday and share his/her outcome of this?

I can't believe that I'm actually paying more to get something almost 2 weeks later.

Wouldnt go that far, these things happen, even if it is frustrating. but the excuse they have given doesnt add up, all other versions went through fine despite being sent the same way and what they have said is the reason doesnt account for 10 days (considering 8 of those are working days.) Seems a bit like there fobbing us off with a generic excuse and i would like a bit more of an explanation, are they just covering there backs with the ten day delay and they should be here sooner, or is it going to definately be a 10 day delay, and if it is whats the REAL reason.

Surely if that were the case, it'd have been for PS3 and PC too given they're all cheap? Just a thought.

Yep, that's what's really bothering me. I mean, why do these "problems with the manufacturer" only apply to the Xbox360 version of the UE, and not the other platforms? The PS3 version is even the cheapiest of all 3.

At least amazon.co.uk was so kind and will not charge shipment as I was doing some chat with the customer service. Oh and they do not know the reason and even if they would know it they wouldn't be allowed to say it. Yep. This is totally bulls.

Here is hope that there will be some informations tomorrow...... and in the best case some really good.

Apparently it is due to the digital items that come with it so that is why it is only the Xbox which is having the delays. So it comes back to Xbox/Microsoft, either that or they are passing the blame on to each other.

Well i pre orderd UE way back in jan got a email same as everyone else saying 12th switched 2 SE as directed as so to get a copy day one all the way till this morning not sent out but said would be with me 4 the 2nd 11am this morning money gets taken out i think sweet its been sent an check my emails , WTF Thursday by 9pm as ive paid more postage to get it release day rang amazon support all they did was refund postage n say sorry last time i use amazon for anything one order twice messed about ��

Anyone else who ordered the UE and isnt wasting money on a standard edition feeling really let down right about now? know i bloody well am.
