I'm not sure but i'd have thought the game on the disk is identical no matter what version you buy. It'll be a code you input to unlock the UE content, in which case as long as you then issue amazon with codes that can e-mailed to UE purchasers to unlock the content. and don't link your account until you have the UE. I'm not sure these are just ideas of the top of my head. I'm not a game developer or distributer but i do deal with customer at work and I know that when they have a problem I do whatever I can to keep them happy, sometimes at our own cost as the reprecusions generally far outway the cost of nipping it in the bud.
On a more serious note, ALVn my post was a lot more detailed and hence needed time to.....create, to fully embrace the gravity of the situation and gather the ambiance of how the community is feeling. And even though I say so myself I feel I nailed it.
