In other games, I would suggest restarting again and trying another class, but yeah... that doesn't apply here. I was happy doing all the weapon pursuits but now they finished, I have lost all meaning. And I haven't even finished everything, its just the things that remain aren't enough to keep me occupied.
New Pursuits: Can't finish half my pursuits now because they are bugged, 2 support tickets, no resolve.Originally Posted by X64
New Vehicle: Oh joy.
Face/Body respec: Couldn't care less about this. Can't see most peoples face anyway and I still see the standard uniform on everyone at arkfalls.
Volge Sieges: I never got the hype about Sieges. Seems a decent way to grind/farm but nothing fun about them really.
New Arkfall: They could do a playboy girls arkfall and I'd still be sick to death of Arkfalls.
New Missions: Likely more of the same stale story missions. If you can even call it a story. Drive to A, use decoy, hold down square to pick up item, drive back to B, skip cutscene.
Charge Weapons: I'm still not sure if this means new types of guns, or just swords. Swords not interesting. New guns would be nice but surely just a new open can of worms with nerfs, bugs, moans, groans etc.
Battle Arenas/PvP maps: PvP is in shambles and never really got off the ground. I don't thinks new maps or modes will save it.
I'm sure that all sounds totally negative and troll like. I haven't quite left Defiance yet, but I haven't played in close to 2 weeks now. I'm clinging to a shred of hope that something good will happen to defiance. I'm not really fussed about the DLC like everyone else because as you can tell, I'm not really excited about anything on offer in DLC #1. I'm really hoping for some groundbreaking stuff in DLC #2 to resurrect this game for me. We'll see about that, maybe. Until then, I'm EGO 2600 and cannot find any good reason to play the game right now.
Like some others have stated, I've moved on to playing other games and only doing a cursory check in now and then with Defiance playing. Steams summer sale was a great one this year with so many titles I got pretty darn cheap and it should last me through til the winter sale easily.
One of the easier platinum trophies I have ever unlocked on my PS3.
I love the ideas of finding stuff to loot.
Yep nothing to do but find exploits, bugs and other things along that. Trion did not think through the lack of content to keep people entertained. Even the PvPers are bored.
PvP is BS with all the exploiters that comes with PvP.
Well looks like that became the case. Cant blame me for wishful thinking though.
Anyway this game needs more persistent things to do. Defiance needs more things in the world to make it feel alive. Treasure Hunting, Racing, Pets dueling, Gambling, Mini Games.
Having Ark Falls and PvP just doesn't cut it.
We need more things to do between these long awaited updates.
Damn things better get rolling or Defiance doesn't have a chance in hell surviving next gen. And if the Game doesn't survive then the show is not going to survive.
I agree with you on that, same .... , they need to add new stuff to make the game going. people are not so into the game like when it first came out.
Don't worry Destiny's on it's way and will have the gaming experience Defiance couldn't give you
