Ok to settle the matter

Toon is derived from cartoon a character that is a loon thus cartoon
now you can tune into cartoon network and watch all the cartoons you want until a certain time at night when a program called adult swim comes on. This programing plays adult anime.

The difference being adult anime is something that usually is in the form that Otaku's refer to as Japanese anime and if you watch this then you already know the difference between cartoons and anime. SYFY channel used to have anime mondays (I think it was when they where the SIFI channel) again proving my point that toons or cartoons is a reference that could be considered childish and derogatory. The video game environment is not that much different as it is a interactive anime in a sense not a interactive cartoon (well unless your off playing DCUO then yea OK your a toon)

I disagree with this comment. You do know a lot of folks in the army play mmo's and are gamers in general since they don't have much to do after working during the day. Even some of the army medics I know were playing wow in the head surgeons office... thing is the head surgeon was also a member of the same wow guild an was playing from home and let them use his office to play while they were on standby.

so to that no-one playing an mmo enough to get into the argument is completely invalid.

but on topic, I used to refer to my avatars as chars, some people use toons, some avatars but does it really matter that much what people refer to them as?

disagree, I have a full home gym and a lap top and constantly work out while either grinding, gathering, crafting, whatever inbetween sets/ resting between sets...though on the rugged end = well I'm a sap at heart

flabby troops? well if the world consisted of nothing but flabby fat troops then wars would be kinda obsolete or obese and obscene. Imagine the Military channel : Warning the images you are about to see are obese and obscene viewer desecration is advised
