Stop calling them toons

Not here to argue, nor start an argument. That being said I call them toons mainly out of force of habit from other MMO's. On more of a technical point though, they are in in fact actually toons. Your character was first drawn out then digitized and colored/drawn on a computer made into a 3d sculpture and had animations added to it in the same way 3d cartoons are made but are more interactive.

I don't know if any of my stuff was totally cohesive or anything. I was not in the best state of mind. I do still believe "character" is a great description, since it hopefully develops as a dynamic, changing person. I always referred to it as a character. Oh well. I suppose this time around maybe I was just posting to make this thread go on a little longer.

I call them "characters" on public forums and "toons" to guild/clan mates and friends.

And please take your argument over to ToonTown Online and see how it is received! -)

I actually call them toons (from CoH/V days) but i had to post anyway

I picked up the usage of toon from the context, but I've always called them chars. Then again, I'm old school.
