One of the French CMs made a post in a DLC thread that showed up in the dev tracker. Google-translated and taken out of context, it makes me think the issue is console certification--not that Trion hasn't finished the patch.

DLC is most likely NOT coming in July, as sledge has said that they will be displaying dlc content on twitter later with NO date until it is set in stone. Seeing as they work off the weakest link and release at the same time, xbox checking process and putting it up on their servers takes around 5 working days at best if everything goes well.

They also said that they would be releasing a patch which will include sieges again before the dlc is released. By combining the xbox process and the patch, they would have to release the patch tomorrow and send the dlc to MS on Thursday. Seeing as they like to see patches working before releasing other stuff, the dlc won't be sent.

I also had to laugh at a sledge post where they said they identified a problem with the PvP outfits and it would be fixed in a few weeks. A few weeks for outfits, what does that say about proper content like clan battles.

If they keep the current dlc release timeframe as they are going, they would be struggling to finish the DLC before the end of season 2.

I have now not played this game for 3 weeks as I have grinded upto 2500 EGO and with nearly all friends on defiance gone on to other games and grinding the only thing you can do there is no interest to come back to the game as it is.

And to those who believe they can get a refund for season passes, you need to realise there is no end date on the season pass, so as long as they are still 'developing' on defiance, they can still say that they will meet the season pass criteria. The only way to get a refund is if they close the servers or disband the development team, then you would have to go through Trion for a refund. Even then it is very unlikely.

There are games with next to useless customer relations (By which I mean communicating with us) and Trion fits right in there. Most communicatiosn we get from trion is about help with bugs, nothing else. I swear that the 50 people working in defiance is split, 40 trainee customer support technicians, 9 game bug technicians and 1 bloke sitting in a cubicle pounding 'how am I supposed to do 5 dlc in a year on my own' using his head to type.

I believe in karma, so I am horrible to you so that I don't have to beat puppies

August 10 2012. "Bioware co-founder steps down as The Old Republic studio manager"

    vs

May 10 2013 "SWTOR’s average monthly revenue has doubled since going F2P"

    Really?

Should be happy considering the game is doing gangbusters since he did.

Meh. I steer clear of people and things that use "Z" in the end of their names. Things always turn out better than if I hadn't.

If you watched the SDCC play through, though it was on an older version of the DLC testing, they pretty much have said its not done yet. If you watched the week before that the trion twitch stream with sledge and wilson talking on the state of it, you'd know its not done yet.

Cert issues arent the real issue.

That philosophy only holds water when dealing with chit-chat on the Interwebz. When the Z is there for Zombies, it becomes Pure Awesome again despite being the caboose of the alphabet.
