Some hard, but necessary truths there.

Its just been bad move after bad move. I still like the game...but the love is now gone. My friends are hardly playing anymore, and its almost a chore to get on myself now (still do it, but its getting rough)

You take AWAY SIEGES (yes, you TOOK THINGS AWAY, in a game players are SCREAMING for more content...and you take. it. away) so now its back to the SAME 8 co-op maps, or the 3 arkfalls (could you just not pump out like 5 more co-op maps for us, SOMTHING??)

Still got your guys back, but a lot of my power to do so was from the DLC not getting pushed back....but then, you did it. the unthinkable....you pushed the DLC back, at a time when players, your FAN BASE, is BEGGING for more content....and you pushed it back....took away sieges....still no pvp outfits....still randomly getting booted......2 pvp maps......(cant remember the last time a game had TWO maps for TDM...) the "tie in" content has been....sub-par to say the least (I feel we were totally lied too in this. We were told we would be getting tie in content with every episode, instead, we got crappy pursuits, and some lackluster side missions, afflicted and the plague were done well, but that's it)

I mean...I was still getting kicked off every 30 min when you added in a time under my map...

Someone, somewhere, thought that was more important.....a clock.....

Or that removing Charlie, was more important then getting your social menu working, for months.

Or that removing the "invisible mutant shotgunner" that not one person saw, was again, more important than new content, or working pvp outfits

Or that removing sieges, our ONE SOURCE of new content, was more important than refunding us our BITS, for YOUR GAME not working for weeeeeeks. (BTW, ANY word on that? like...ANYTHING??)

Some of us had your back for months Trion, not only supporting you in game, with BIT purchases (still have 1000 on stock since clan boosts were removed, thanks guys) and on here against others blatantly hating....

Its a relationship.....a consumer one, but still a relationship....I need some lovin before we can go out again Trion....even just a little tug will do, but something to show you care

All that being said, I do want to finish off, that I love what Defiance has done, just not the way they have done it.

It has provided me with a game, to play, for MONTHS, for $60. Not many others game can say that. I WANT to play it for many more months, I WANT it to do well, and encourage more massive online games!

Not monster truckish (is that a word?) enough and i noting a distinct lack of drunk strippers - which is probably something i'll have to live with cause of forums rules and such...so i guess i'll have to settle with close enough.../sadface

It's a shame the DLC is delayed, and I doubt it will be released next month. I like the game, I really do, but it is severely lacking in content. The tiny story missions that were added during the show weren't that much either. I just hope that after DLC1 we don't have to wait months for the rest.

5 dlcs? before season 2? have lost all complete hope for that.

*small request if a Dev is reading this: on my Defiance list I know some of my friends refuse to buy anything from the store, let those of us who like to spend money gift them with either Bits or items from the micro store.

Idea: needs to be a Gift Option in the store.

the idea prob would help with player created events and generate alittle more money into the game. also gifted bits/items to be trackable by customer support after its claimed.

I know the micro store sucks really bad (nothing new just recolored/reskinned items) but id still spend & send BITS to friends on my Defiance list who are unable to spend money. Increments of at least 500 to 1k please.

add a small window to drop a few words when sending: bits or items.

some folks will prob hate this idea but imo business first generate that money to make that vision of the game/show bigger stronger better.

Just drooling a bit thinking about what it could've been. The in depth choices and consequences of the mass effect storyline,

One of the worst example...Check the Witcher.

And Defiance is a TPS not a CRPG.

Seen that in games before and I think it sounds good. When buying an item you should also be given the option: Personal use or gift? If you choose gift then it asks for Either the GT or Character name. (I don't really care wich as long as they specify VERY clearly wich one is needed) and lets you put in a simple message, and also tells your friend exactly who sent it to you and when.

Yeah, there were plenty of times where the ark hunter clearly needed dialogue. It was extremely lazy for them not to put any in. Hell, they could've gone beyond that and made it like the mass effect morality wheel and gave us choices and let us flesh out our ark hunters even more. It makes me appreciate some of the terrible voice acting for the main characters in guild wars 2 (your character)

Heck I've played a couple games where your character's verbal responses are different based on the voice you chose. SOme voices gave bad@$$ answers some were smartmouthed other were a combo and I remember one was even VERY phsycotic. Even vocal choices like that would work!
