    Okay, DLC

Since, along with all the other so called "fanboys", I am tired of hearing it I'm gonna say it. We've never had a set date for DLC Launch, we've had "Summer" and "end of july". Now, I personally, took "End of July" to not literally mean "By the last day in July"

I love this game but the community is keeping me from enjoying it to its full potential. I don't normally post here anymore because its all "OMG where's the DLC" or "fix your schtako" or "don't nerf the saw make everything else appealing".

On the subject of "where's the DLC" post's. You realize that if Trion were to release the DLC prematurely, without properly bug testing/fixing it, these forums would be alight with "You guy's are horrible developers" and "I want my money back because this is unacceptable" post's
Want to know when the Next DLC drops? See below

You have valid points. However it's not the community's fault. It's human nature. We suck as a species.
You know who else's fault it is?
The Developers for breaking things with each new patch.
Also the CMs who said the game was in Certification. You know Microsofts ****ty process that none of the other big names make users go through? So yeah I also Blame Microsoft.

All this negativity causes us to lash out.

You do realize Sony has their own safeguards in place too right? Developers can't just send code straight out of QA to the live servers willy nilly. Microsoft just recently even removed the pricetag associated with having a game sent through certification

And, I agree, we do suck as a species. But, not because its human nature. Because people are used to instant gratification. Remember when games used to be Closed source? When there were no patches? No DLC? When gaming was about the story and fun and not about "having the sleekest graphics"

Yes I do, but I also realize they go about it in an intelligent way that promotes games.
All companies should and do but m$ takes if far beyond.

Look at the Fez situation. Updates process broke him. Although now that he's made his money he can most certainly put a patch out, but refuses to on principle and standing up to their draconian measures.

I most certainly remember those games and I go back to them quite frequently when I just want a quick fix or the mom and kid are napping occasionally.

River City Ransom still one of my favs today.

When they said late July, I figured August.

Hopefully it's before the end of August.

    Thank you for posting this.

And River City Ransom was fantastic, I loved how deep that game went for building your character in that day and age.

Also Metal Gear, and sneaking around in a cardboard box on the NES.

Great points OP. I rather wait another week or so than have them rush out the product. I understand the frustration but would you rather have a broken product or a refined productÉ

You do know the Scott Pilgrim Vs the world game on PS3 is pretty much an updated 8bit replica of it's awesomeness right?
