Remember when games used to be Closed source? When there were no patches? No DLC? When gaming was about the story and fun and not about "having the sleekest graphics"

Know what I don't remember from back in those days? Unfinished games being released, and the maker saying "Wow, we had no clue this game had so many game breaking bugs. Oh, well." Or looking at the game on the shelf in the store, wondering if I should spend $60 for it or wait a couple of months and grab it out of the $10 bin.

You do know the Scott Pilgrim Vs the world game on PS3 is pretty much an updated 8bit replica of it's awesomeness right?

when i played the demo i realized immediately it was a clone. seems no games these days just like movies are original just remakes some are good, some are bad.

Since, along with all the other so called "fanboys", I am tired of hearing it I'm gonna say it. We've never had a set date for DLC Launch, we've had "Summer" and "end of july". Now, I personally, took "End of July" to not literally mean "By the last day in July"

I love this game but the community is keeping me from enjoying it to its full potential. I don't normally post here anymore because its all "OMG where's the DLC" or "fix your schtako" or "don't nerf the saw make everything else appealing".

On the subject of "where's the DLC" post's. You realize that if Trion were to release the DLC prematurely, without properly bug testing/fixing it, these forums would be alight with "You guy's are horrible developers" and "I want my money back because this is unacceptable" post's

Throw in "Delayed for bug fixes" "Delayed for bug fixes" right after the 2nd major patch and throw in "Waiting for certification" in between July and August and you pretty much nailed everything they said, though you'll get some people who will desperately try to argue that despite two blog entries stating that the DLC was delayed and another stating it would come after the major patches that they never said anything about when the DLC was coming out prior to the July date, anyone can go back and look at them to see exactly what they said and what it meant.

Here's to hoping the new guy can actually accomplish something.

12. SALES POLICIES

A. Pre-Purchase

From time to time, Trion may sell digital versions of certain Game(s), Virtual Items), products or services through the Store prior to their actual commercial release date. The purchase of such Game(s), products and services are subject to the terms of each such offer as detailed in the applicable product description on the Store.

If you purchase a digital product through the Store (such as a Game or Virtual Item), you will (i) receive an e-mail verification of receipt of your purchase; (ii) be granted any related entitlements on your Account (such as bonus items, beta or early access, and/or a Game); (iii) be entitled to access such Game, product or service upon its commercial release; and (iv) not receive any physical product from Trion.

Any game time entitlements (such as thirty (30) days game time included with purchase of a Game by a new Game Account) shall commence upon your initial log in to your Account following such Game’s commercial release.

Please keep in mind that all release dates are estimates only and are subject to change.

Which basically means moaning in any form about the DLC being delayed is pointless as by agreeing to those that essentially means Trion could delay the DLC for as long as they want. Don't get me wrong, I'm on the same boat as those who are confused as to why this headless chicken has been running around for so long. But delaying adding something that could potentially conflict with the existing game in order to address existing issues already within the game is better than adding more fuel to a burning fire.
