When in August?

Giving an expected date would not be a responsible thing to do. There are some things that are not fully in our control revolving around the consoles that keep us from giving an exact date. There is enough certainty that we feel like we can say August but that is much different than a specific date within August.

Waiting for console verification and authentication perhaps? Figures. If not, still figures. Heh.

As a console player, I would actually be ok with the PC players getting it a few weeks before us. Somebody needs to test and break it, then retest it, why not them?

Remember kids this game has to pass internal testing at Trion, then get shipped to Sony and Microsoft who then test and configure, then they have to get it set up for release and then Trion sends in an update and it all starts all over again. The consoles (Xbox IMO) Has really been holding up this entire process and I think in one of our interviews it was very nearly stated as such. Remember at launch it was so bad that Xbox had to go to Trion to help them sort out Xbox's mess? I remember...

In saying that, this DLC was originally slated for release with in the first month and a half of Launch. With all the issues I wonder if they have even had time to begin working on the second one. 4 more by Dec 2014? Not at this rate.

i'm more inclined to believe it's just because the Defiance team isn't very good at what they do. Mean i know, but that's my honest opinion (which i'll probably get banned for saying).
