Well here is my two cents worth.....It is what it is, a game. Its not reality, nor is it manditory. You either play because you enjoy it, or you do not. For me its an escape. A way to step away from the real world and relax, have fun, and maybe interact with a few friends. This comment is in no way a stab or insult to anyone, but if all someone has to do is complain about a video game, than you should consider yourself lucky.

Hahaha have fun with that, I sold the game after seeing that all you do is arkfalls. Which are dumb and boring.

Yet here you are... starting up a thread, replying to others minutes apart from each post. What a wonderful life you must lead. How's the view from the top of your mountain?

So really you only played the game through the Release/Testing phase, and quit before it really got stabilized? So youve missed the best thing to happen to this game (which they took away sadly, but will add again sometime) in Sieges. Did you come back to check them out?

And yeah, Why if you quit after 1 month did you wait almost 4 months to ask why people still play? Because you want to play, you want a reason to play. You ARE interested. Thats why we play, we still feel interest to keep playing. A feeling of something left to do.

For me, im getting towards the ends of my interest in the game. If the DLC isnt out within 2 weeks, id say im breaking from Defiance until it does come out. Some people are completionists for games. Until i complete Defiance, Im playing... Or until i find another game i want to complete that i cant hold off on getting.

Also, i think this is alot of people's first dip into MMOs, even though its an FPS 1st. So, the feeling of "holy crap, thats alot more then 16 people in this area!", its still real for many. Its something special if its your 1st interaction with dozensss of people... I think if people come from a WoW background, they probably get easily disappointed in Defiance.

Because I was born in '82 and therefore have a greater attention span than your average mid 90's spawned Dbags that call themselves gamers. That, and cuz' it makes players like you scratch your head in confusion if ppl like me continue to play this game.

if you've played MMOs before and you are use to grinding this game is a lot of fun compared to other grind fests.
once the new consoles are out and the Fall gaming release season begins this game is done for.
