New beginnings....

So we finally get the communication we've all been craving and answers to questions that have been eating away at us for weeks but people still feel the need to piss and moan.

Don't get me wrong you've got every right to and I've done my fair share but I'm about to take the new exec producer at face value and watch him hopefully deliver his promises.

DLC in August which will bring us a ton of new features and more importantly (to me) the ability to play with our US counterparts. They're supposedly giving us sieges back to help tide us over for which I'm great full as they're a welcome change of scenery from arkfalls.

He deserves a chance and if you're still around from launch I know you're more than willing to because no matter how upset we get at recent blogs etc not materialising. We're still here.

I for one am a lot more upbeat than I was this time yesterday.

There was always going to be teething problems as youd expect with any fledgling project undertaking the amount that Defiance has. For the most part I'm very happy. The fact ive logged in to play almost daily since launch backs this up.

Yes I want more but that's just our nature but the ability to finally play with US members of my group supercedes any desire for a rushed, half baked DLC. I'd rather it was dne and polished to a degree that there'll be no issues and it'll be seamless.

Let's give the fella a chance.

Being a cynic, I rather agree to what MacDeath wrote in this post:

IMO, Nathan didn't create the problem that was the Defiance launch. He was only brought on board in October of 2012 just before the game went into the final beta. Of course, he didn't fix the issues either. It's my belief that he was brought on board at that time so that the Trion Execs would have someone, other than the good ole boys, to shoot when the **** hit the fan.

Now, the **** has hit the fan pretty hard, and Trion blamed Nathan for that. At this point Trion presents the good ole boy who will make everything right.

I´m curious if this will work.

I guess we'll see whether it really is a new beginning or more of the same (spin doctoring). As i said in another post. I have zero faith in Trion, it's my first Trion game and 7 or so weeks in all i see are bugs, patches that make new bugs instead of fixing them, a community team who couldn't give a toss about their own forums and a repeated history of missed deadlines. Combine that with the fact all the friends i joined to play with have stopped playing and at this point i have no reason to log in.

The others gave us the same BS. They also completely failed. I feel like I need to apologize to the world there are such deep rooted lemmings like you in this world. I never thought the human race could be this simple. How some of you are able to even turn the TV on is beyond reasoning. I expect someone had to help you with that. I wouldn't doubt turning on the radio is a house chore to you. Seriously people how gullible...
