Dunno if its another Steam connection problem but any ways. the site should have a light indicator or something that shows the servers status whether it's online or offline. just a suggestion

patch notes say 15 mins from this posting, the server will be up.
I seem to hit play a lot when the servers are down lol
Did you check the server status on the launcher....oh wait they didn't put that in. I wouldn't put to much faith in the times they give for when the server will be back up from their posts.
