Will there be a defiance mobile App

As it says above will they work on a mobile app that we can chat and earn scrip and a little salvage maybe some other things with kinda like rift mobile

I think there is another app for some ingame stuff like rift alert if i remember correctly as well.

There are lots of third-party ones already in development so expect lots of apps for different features to come out.

rift has an official chat app also so wouldn't be surprised if Trion also went with that, which would be cool.

I noticed during the last beta that my rift authenticator app on IOS doubled as my defiance authentication code aswell.

I'm surprised that the game didn't ship with an app. Something like the Farcry 3 app would be ideal, allowing loadouts and possibly even mods? if the whole salvage matrix could be done on a mobile app that would be ideal, then all the mundane stuff like breaking down junk and resetting weapon experience would actually turn into a fun little mini-game on mobile.
I would say it would be best to avoid adding any scrip / salavage-earning mini-games that aren't contained in the main client because it gives an advantage to people who use the app that those who don't or can't might get (unnecessarily) upset about. I think just a mobile version of the salvage matrix, loadout and stats screens would be great. possibly throw in the contracts screen too?

I imagine an Auction House app would be popular. But we need an AH first.

There are arguments that AH will be bad for the game. I personally don't see an issue. But if that is a real concern, than make it within guild only. Ie items for sale are only viewable by members of the guild and the guild master can set a certain amount of tax (0 to 30%) which he can then use for guild activities like reward for wining guild games or to help new members of the guild etc etc.
