in area chat there is a guy that had one of these hate threads on here. its on ps3 he is going from arkfall to ark fall flaming area chat with this hate. its causing the same fighting in game as on here.

so right now its not the bugs or trion that is making me not want to play. it is the rude hateful people.

I normally have area chat turned off unless a friend asks me to turn it it, so they probably do so on 360 as well I just don't see it.

this all is getting out of hand and it should stop. everyone has a right to like or not like a game or the one who makes them. thats all fine with me. why should the ones that is mad,fed up or wants to leave defiance think the rest of us should also? it dont bother me if people hate this game or trion but dont ruin my game or rights to like and play it.

thats why i made my sig.i should be able to play the game in peace. i should not be spamed to return my game and get my money back. that is not for anyone else to tell me. when is everyone going to learn after all this time these hate threads has not done anyone any good. it has not changed nothing or made anything any better. all it has dont has made more hate and more threads.

i am NOT returning my game and i am NOT going to bash and hate. so if you all feel like bashing this alabama woman have at it.

Another thing I think is funny is how many trolls now used to be defenders of Trion and the game. I see a lost of posts now that begin with "I was a defender of Trion but then they did this or then they did that"

You know what is the easiest way to tell that Defiance may be headed toward dire straits? People are making trolling posts more and more and there seems to be less and less people calling out those trolls and defending the game and Trion?

Others have said this and I completely agree. "This" being we choose to ignore the Trolls because there is no point in conversing with them. Trolls just want to attack regardless of the reason or validity. I have tried to post positive threads and just get attacked. Is it fair that I am letting them win by not posting positive comments or starting positive threads? No. Does it matter? Apparently not to this community. I say that because the community dictates the life within these threads. If more members stood up (not just the few that do) the life within these threads might just seem better.

Exactly they will move on to Destiny Gta, Saints row 4 or some other shiney game soon enough, And those of us who prefer playing and getting all our enjoyment out of our fave games will still be here enjoying it, and being happy about the peacefulness.

And the great thing is they'll have something new to complain about. No game is blight free and a totally perfect experience. And some games have had the exact same kinds of bugs this one has had and even worse, yet people have bought those games by the millions and are pre-ordering others that their devs are making, while acting like Trion is the Anti-Christ. They are the black hole of despair.

Make no mistake, bugs in all games need to be addressed, poor practices that are anti-consumer need to be changed in all games, but they never will because those that complain about Defiance are pre-ordering Destiny and are psychics who know Destiny will be just ducky.

Yeah, because CoD games made by Activision companies were all just super and bug free. And all Halo games have been terrific and bug free and not bland or boring ever. And GTA games don't get boring after you've run over the 500th cop or prostitute. And Elder Scrolls online will be bug free because all Bethesda games are-they never freeze up, never have had any problems whatsoever. And all those millions those games earn for their devs goes right back into making sure that bugs in their games never show up again. Great delusional thinking.

I agree. The trolling posts serve no purpose other than some selfish need on the part of the trolls to try and force only those who agree with them to post. They want to create misery wherever possible. They are not constructive. People do have things that need attention and need fixing, but the trolls try to drown them out too.

You can't really fight them except by trying to ignore them (I don't do this very well) and by stating the things you enjoy (as you do), and even stating what you'd like to see for the future. It's sad when this is actually a game that is not focused on hardcore, badassed gaming but is more about having fun and yet others just want to suck the fun out of it.

They don't know how to make their own fun in this game, but go for mindless repetition in other games. They aren't complaining to get something fixed, they're complaining in order to see this game and even Trion destroyed. I don't understand this at all. I don't complain about things if I don't want them to get better, and I don't want to see any company destroyed, people lose their jobs, unless real harm has been done. I have no idea what motivates those that do.

I've never been active, myself, on these forums, but in the beginning I considered myself a Trion supporter. And, I also want to point out I myself got lucky and never encountered any game-breaking bugs. I was sorry some (At the time I thought probably a very vocal few) were having issues, but since they weren't affecting me, well, they didn't affect me. I've still never had any of these issues in my game, but then again, I don't really play too much anymore.
I only visit the forums once in a great while, to see if there's any news on the DLC, I'll probably pick it back up and check it out again when that drops, maybe. And that makes me sad.
Now, I don't regret paying my $60 for this game, I got $60 worth of enjoyment out of it.
I knew things were going downhill when I had to start planning on doing something else on patch day, because I knew that didn't mean the servers would be down 2 hours, it meant they would be down all day. (I don't know if they've gotten any better at this, but, it was step 1 to me bowing out) And then, after the plague content was over, and they just pulled sieges out of the game completely, without replacing them with anything at all, I eventually got bored and burnt out. I haven't logged in to this game since before the show's season finale.
And, that DOES make me sad. I had such high hopes for this game. I still think it's possible that they could turn it around and be great again. And if they do, I'll come back. Maybe. If I'm not entirely wrapped up in some new game. There's a few coming out in VERY little time that might just make me shelve this copy of Defiance for good.
I in no way am trying to insult the defenders, I totally get it. I was in your shoes. I'm not saying you shouldn't play or shouldn't be enjoying it. Just pointing out that the people who don't, aren't always trolls. They're disappointed, like me.
