Pvp ques and general game performance?

So iv been taking a break from defiance for a while now cause the pvp ques were pretty bad, so I'm kind of curious as to how everything is now iv been told that since the last patch that the game is kind of broken with rediculous lag, crashes and hard freezes is this true or has been fixed? Also are the pvp ques better? Just wondering if I should start mass effect 2 while waiting for another patch or give defiance another go.

i would replay the entire mass effect trilogy twice before trying defiance again. pretty broken right now bud.
