Are the servers down?

I know there are other threads on this subject, but it seems like some are saying they can log into the game. I signed up for the 72 hour trial last night and played for a few hours before really bad lag hit. I haven't been able to log into the game at all since about 2am last night.

I was going to buy the game after the trial, but now I'm having serious reservations, even at $10.

Are the servers down, or is it just a few of us that can't connect?

Whatever it is it's really bad.

1-I can't log in. I'm talkin' bout the login screen where you click "Update" to start the game client. It wont start.
2- Forums super slow. I had a hard time getting on here.

So whatever it is, it's bad because that never happened before. You can't get on the servers when the game is down, but you can start client. Not this time though.... I freaked did a virus check, and then tried other sites. Everything is fine. It's just Defiance.

Can't start the client and it takes forever to get onto the forums.

Edit: I was able to get past "Update" and to the "play" screen right after posting. Connection to the character screen is impossible though.

It's a Server Issue.... I was killing Forges in game for 5 minutes at a major scrapper ark fall.

I put the hurt on a scrapper scourge the next thing. I noticed the damm thing was moonwalking in the air !...

Lag so hard it's " GAME OVER MAN " !.
