Well... My day has come to an end and I was able to group up with a bunch of my clan that made it on. We played PvP and completed our Echelon dailies without any trouble (logging on after 10pm). As a bonus most of my clan mates got to kill me, some more than others... Looking forward to my Positive Post #2!

I find it funny that most of the people on here had to cry and not look at how funny some of the bugs were. Come on, how many times do you get to see a hell-bug clime into the air like a rocket? That was awesome. Then even though it took them longer to fix the problem then expected the game ran better then i have seen it in a long time. Got to kill Cap a few time and after that finished a few things for my Ego rating for clan pursuit. It was a blast.

I know the game has issues. I know people are upset about the DLC. I know that trolls are going to come running. I know. What you don't know is I am going to start a new post every day listing what I am looking forward to doing that night. Why? Because it is always harder to smile than it is to frown. How many people have you thanked today? Or better yet... how many negative comments have you made today? I like being happy... it suits me.
Just want to throw in it's actually easier to smile than frown. Takes more muskels to frown lol.

    +100.

Made my day. People can't see the forest for the trees and if they'd stop focusing on some negatives, there's a lot of fun to be had with a game they own. I consider myself very lucky because I can appreciate a diamond in the rough and I enjoy things for what they are and I don't let imperfections dissuade me. If I did hate every game that was badly flawed there would not be a game out there to play.

I love going after arkfalls and seeing all kinds of vehicles racing to do the same thing. I love Volge hunting in groups, big and small, and having others join in as the group gets bigger. I love how funny it is to be in a huge group and come upon a random person, wondering what they must think as 40 or more people descend upon the emergency they're working on. I love getting the whole group to melee a Red Crystal or a Volge Viscera. And it's hilarious watching as a Viscera levels ten people at a time.

I like doing Shadow Wars with the groups from our clan. We laugh so hard at some of the comments made, especially when a poor new person has no idea about Shadow Wars and keeps getting hit by a vehicle. Usually they start laughing too.

I love many of the people that are regulars in chat. The callouts when someone comes online and hears you talking and recognizes your voice. Tree climbing for prizes was fun too. Winning a prize in a clan contest or winning a random prize just for participating. Or helping someone complete a pursuit. Or telling them about a decent farming spot or whatever. I also love it when I get an orange weapon after opening something like 300 lockboxes. Sure, the wait was long but the surprise of it was fun. And I don't even think orange weapons are always the best, but it was a Mass Cannon and they're fun.

Tonight I'm going to run around trying to fight Volge and others with weapons I've never tried and I'll melee more, and wait for the community tournament to end so I can do the Death Run with my clan (and anyone else that wants to join), and I'll do another Shadow War. For fun.

It takes 12 major muscles to smile, 11 to frown but debate continues on which is easier. Smiling indicates a more relaxed posture whereas frowning can be due to tension and stress and really intense frowning can be due to anger and a sour nature. Studies suggest we do tend to smile more often so in theory it should be easier since the muscles get more of a workout and are used to being used. But that's not so for everyone.

There is a real theory, tested time and again and it tends to be true that your body can force your mind to do things and create your emotions. So if you smile, even if you have to fake it, it can make you feel better and be somewhat happier. It's something I learned at a stress management course for a very stressful job dealing with life and death issues. It's all but impossible to be mad if you're smiling. And smiling, again even if you have to force it, can make you stronger, healthier, and yes, it helps you be happier.

Everything goes better with some sort of smile. People need to try it more often.

Great post Cap. Love the death marches. Wish we could get something like that done on Xbox. I was also able to get with the majority of my small clan and rock arkfall after arkfall, majors and minors. We all got on a little late, but the lag wasn't bad. We all pulled enough keys for a couple tier 3s and nobody got anything real good, but we HAD FUN PLAYING and that's what matters. Despite all the negativity and the game's bugs, you can still get on and play with friends and that's why I keep playing defiance. Let the haters hate and the fanboys fan.....heh.
    Deliverance lost. Redemption found.

Xbox NA -- In-game name Deikon. Current EGO 50xx. PvP done: None. Main quest done: finally completed (that 4k ego nim pistol looks good to). Side missions left to do: 90%+. Clan: Freemasons. How I occupy my game time....I shoot things, lots of things.

    My thoughts, exactly.

(Well... aside from a majority of Rockstar's games, anyway.)
