It has been that way since alpha. You learn to live with it. Just find some helpful people and have them keep the path clear for you. The time trials ARE in the main world afterall! If they were in an inclosed track then they would be way toooooo easy.
And no I do NOT have silvers or golds on most of them, I just do not care that much.

i have gold in everything already, its just for this dodge trial. no idea why im even doing it, i'm not spending 25k on a new color. maybe for the 100% boost which gives you xp. If colors cost like 5k, sure I'd buy them all. Sure as hell not buying 40 of every vehicle. Could have sworn they moved most of the emergencies off the tracks in like 1.024 or something.
Then they added more emergencies for the replay missions. More emergencies means they need to be in more places. Not to mention some tracks go over roads so you are bound to hit a few ROADSIDE emergencies.

Well, I had an arkfall falling literally on top of me when I was in a time trial with a very good chance of obtaining a gold. I was mad at first but I found it amazing afterwards since I was thinking the game needed a bit of unpredictable chaos. I wish an arkfall crashed in more populated places to spice things up a bit
I managed to get on the vehicle again and still get a bronze, but I needed a silver for the pursuit so I did it again and this time I also didn't get a gold because of that same arkfall that was now full of obstacles, but I managed to get my silver this time
