Wow can't even play this game on release...well done amazon...well done

Not the first time I've been pissy with amazon and there delivery...I order the ultimate edition on the 27th and was all geared awaiting it's release on the 2nd..it's now pushed back to the 12th due to some unexpected delivery issues or something? So I have to order the SE but I've only just done that now after finding out not too long ago and it's estimated delivery is the 4th! wow....nice one not only am I late playing but it's not even the right edition. SO after probably getting it 2 day's late I then have the luxury of packaging it up and spending an extra few pounds just to deliver the game back to amazon to get the UE when it releases..what a f***** mess, so much effort..come on such a ball ache I shouldn't have to do that.......*sigh huuuuh

Lock this thread I know you will do, but at least answer me this someone, I know you can return the game, but will I get a refund If I have played the game? Also if I have used the pre-order bonus?(If I even get it) Not that part really matters as I will be getting the UE anyway, but if it affects It's return it'll be good to know.

Edit: I know someone will send me an email of Amazons reply to a few of you who asked or you re-direct me or something, but I have already read a lot on the redirected thread, and I just want a concise straight forward now response that clears it all up, I'm tired of reading paragraphs of replies that don't answer much.

From what I understand, more UEs were bought than Amazon could actually obtain. Look at it this way. You are most definitely going to have people to play with.

It's just everything has gone tit's up, first the region locking (which has been to an extend appeased), now a pushed back date for UE by over a week! and I'm likey not able to play the game on release either due to lack of updates on the situation too late to deal with it. I really am not happy at the moment nor are a lot of other of my mates I have spoken about it from EU....sad man absolutely sad

i have pre ordered 2 games from amazon and both times they were 1-8 days late. i dont know how few and far between actual game stores are in your area but i personally am ordering from a local gamestop so i can just drive and pick it up myself. i hate not having pre ordered games on launch day. i hope your situation gets better man. amazon is really hindering defiance's cash flow when they are risking people canceling their bigger editions of the game to avoid a week delay.
