They nerfed Nim

I just finished my third play through, and beat Nim with my SAW. Died a total of three times and they were all my fault. It took me forever to beat him the first time, the second was slightly better only because I knew more about setting up my perks and what not. This time it was over fast.

Well I am playing on Ps3 after making the switch after Xbox mess ups. I knew his attack pattern and his moves on the 360 on my like 5 or 6th time I had his moves down and was not as hard as before. May be that I have yet to find out as I am not there yet I will get back to this thread when I am there in say 2-3 days

I think it does just get easier, like Jackleg Joe. First time is usually a pain, then after you get the attack pattern and learn the weaknesses it's easier. Add better, leveled up weapons and ego and it can be a cakewalk.

Try using a SMG and a Sawed-off, or whatever you use the least. I want to try a sword, just to see how many times I die.

With Jackleg Joe the first time I hid in the corner and shot the smelters as they came out. The last two times the smelters came out and came straight at me making it harder to hit them. On Nim's first stage I just hit him, no rolling around or anything. Just straight hit him till he died, same with the second time, the three came out I picked one and hit him, the third round was a little tougher but still basically just jumped a couple of times and hit him. Only twice did the floor sections raise up and only once did he do the multiply ones around the top and even then they didn't attack all at once.

Ha I finished my second play through of Nim yesterday and killed him with a Northstar LOL

He's definitely not overly tough to beat... he's just over there on the heavy side of the cheesy scale, as far as bosses in video games go.

did you you a saw all three times youve played him? if this is your first time facein him with the saw then you have the variable that made him easy (him and everything else in the game) i used smgs the first two times i faced him and used the saw the third time. needless to say the third time was the easiest.

bmg is all you need, even if it's at level 1. All I used and had no idea why everyone cried over nim. Jackleg was harder the first time around. I'm on pc and wondering if he was 'so called nerfed' there too, i'll find shortly.

Seriously just bmg his ***, and I used a mazu to destroy his lil pillar things. Destroy the pillars, hide behind a concrete pillar out of los of him and his pillar spawns.

Always thought he was easy. Everything in this game is easy or easily exploitable to beat with the right group/weapons.

Did I use a SAW when I defeated Nim? No... I used an SMG and a shotty, both of them had syphon.
