    Allow me to convert.

    400 Bits = 400 MSP = $5 (USD)
    1800 Bits = 1600 MSP = $20 (USD)
    5200 Bits = 4000 MSP = $50 (USD)
    11,200 Bits = 8000 MSP = $100 (USD)
If this holds true, then the UE's 1200 bits is one good deal.

Same here, and possibly a couple lockboxes just to help get the BMG and a decent infector quicker early on.

Unless you've seen someone in-game that got a hold of an infector or BMG via lockbox before they hit EGO 100, I wouldn't bother, since they're restricted to EGO 100 and above. Plus, when I was under 100 this weekend, I opened 3 or 4 Tier 4s and didn't get anything decent at all. Lots of green-blue grenades, shottys, pistols and (thankfully) a purple shield. Once I hit 100, I was able to get a nice AR, SMG and a purple syphon sniper and a great little orange auto shotty.

I figure I may buy 1 or 2 before EGO 100, just to try it, but will limit most of lockbox purchases until I'm at least 100, if not 250. Seeing as how I usually hit about 100 levels a day, it shouldn't take too long.

Here is what I have gathered so far.

    400 Bits - cost $5
    1,800 Bits - cost $20
    5,200 Bits - cost $50
    11,200 Bits - cost $100

Minor boosts for experience, in-game money, loot, reputation, and skills cost between 30 and 60 Bits.

Vanity head pieces cost 150 Bits while vanity outfits cost 240.

Additional inventory cost between 160 (for 5 slots) and 510 Bits (for 15 slots).
I find most of this math disturbing, namely the 'bundles':

    400 Bits - cost $5
    1,800 Bits - cost $20
    5,200 Bits - cost $50
    11,200 Bits - cost $100

That means the first bundle is 80 bits per dollar at $5, 90 bits per dollar at $20, 104 bits per dollar at $50, and 112 bits per dollar at $100. There is no equal value there so putting that to a value in MS Points is even harder, cause the more you pay the less they are per bit, meaning that 1 bit when you pay at $100 has a value of $0.012 but at $5 a bit has a value of $0.80.

That means if you spend $100 worth of money over time on $5 bundles you will only get 1600 bits. It also means that dollar wise it would be hard to equate to MS Points as those at 80 pts to the dollar in any amount, no volume discount.

Also some of the other numbers like +5 slots for 160 bits and +15 for 510 bits, why would you buy +15 instead of three +5 upgrades? That would only be 480 bits.

And with bits having variable pricing a 240 bits item will cost a $5 purchaser $3, a $20 purchaser $2.67, and a $100 purchaser $2.14 cents. That doesn't seem like a sensible fair system, but rather something more kin to Pay to Win, cause the more you cough up up front the more you can buy cause of the volume discount. Kinda backwards to what we have been hearing.

Vehicles and outfits will be accountwide, hoping inventory slots will be as well.

Anyway, Im more curious as to what bits will cost in euro (just converting following the current conversion rates wont really cut it, since there are more things that factor into the price).

As for the inventory upgrades, I think you can only buy one upgrade of each. That is, one +5, one +10 and one +15. At least from what I remember seeing in beta weekend 3.
