I'm just asking cause I usually just install game from dash, but noticed a install game from the start screen.
Is it the same either way or is it a do through the start screen.
The manual ( lol ) says nothing about install.
I know you can't play blah blah. But just had to press the button.
Yes an install, I believe is needed. Amazon has in one of its requirements that you have 10GB of free space on your HDD. Just install it like you normally would then check it again by starting the game and see if you get the same message.
You load up the game and it installs it
installation is required but i read in a way its better in the long run anyway, as the disc acts like a key to play the game once installed. thus the game then runs from the hdd, not the disc. extends the life of the disc by limiting wear and tear. which is a plus
Yeah. It's like a standard game . The install from the disc is for patches not client. I thought the client would also be installed to your hard drive

hotdamn... 10 gigs. I still have a 1st gen xbox... looks like some deleting and moving of files is in order.

Yeah that sounds about right, DCUO required a massive amount of HDD space for Game info installation.
