I will say that most of the time people are not Hacking. If you saw them do something that looks like it should be impossible just ask them nicely how they did it. Most of them will be more than happy to share their builds or give you tips and advice. A lot of them are super nice people.

There are also other times where there is a glitch in the game that they may not be aware of. For example sometimes in Freight Yard or Observatory a person will be completely invisible even while firing and won't recognize it. You can tell them that in the game and most players will just kill themselves to get rid of the glitch.

The last patch removed some of the client side data and broke a fair bit of the largest pc hack program. The creator thinks there is so little interest in the game it is not a priority to fix it or make a work around. They are working on their BF3 aimbot instead. Funny in a 13 page subscriber thread for Defiance PC hacks to see who uses the same forum or game name lol. Certain things are still working but not as much, and yea I just lol if you need to pay for a mod hack menu for this game or any game. One interesting thing to note is apparently in all the testing and creating they never got banned.

If you think the hacking is bad now, you should've seen it the first two months. Some hackers were being so brazen as to even post videos and links to the hacks they were using via the forums here as dominad was eluding to.

You know a game isnt in good shape when most hackers cant be even motivated to bother with it.

In the world of hacking and game modding Defiance is hardly a blip. People only tend to focus on popular releases. They made it when it came out; then recently a couple of people asked for fix; not forthcoming waste of effort not enough players or buyers for it. So the program in GUI format is still functional and buyable from them but lacks the aim bot and some other features no lnger work. Another Euro pc hack place has been selling an aim bot for ages but I think its not what the video shows. There was only x amount of data available client side like the dmg. Still it did allow for game saves to be made on PC and reloaded so completely possible someone went to the effort of creating a video for fleecing cheaters.

Still only seen one mod menu running on xbox I doubt there will be more.

Scriptkiddies then :P A cracker if just a person running a crack and applying a patch to something is not actually a cracker :P We will be here all day.

@X64 you can try reporting people from the small amount I have read when researching claims on this forum there is no official in game banning policy and I have yet to hear of anyone who has been banned have you? Most of the claims are false and in the end they do have the DLC content to deliver on not trying to ban people abusing PVP. If it makes you feel better as I said the program most were using is not that effective anymore.
