With the Ultimate Edition, the Seasons Pass lets you be a new species, so I'll be that and a Machinist.

Just so we're clear, are you aware you won't have access to the new race until it is released x number of months after launch? So unless they add in a race change ability you'll need to reroll to play the new race.

The origin only selects what your starting clothing and weapons will be. Other than that it's a virtually identical experience between all origins/classes. And just because you picked a survivalist, uses sniper rifles as first weapon, it doesn't prevent you from using any other weapon later.

I recommend the starting class that looks the most interesting to you or has the starting weapon type you want. One has an assault rifle, another a shotgun, a sniper rifle and finally a light machine gun.
