What code do you mean? The Authentication box in the login window? That's the authenticator code which you don't type in when you don't have a mobile authenticator. The not entitled to play is a bug, sometimes it gets fixed by resetting your password (even if you enter your old password again as your new) and sometimes it is not fixed by that.

Oh, ok - thanks for that. Then it puzzles me that it tells me I am not entitled to play when I am looking at my digital download confirmation in the account transactions.

If you bought the game from somewhere else then find the CD key from the other vendor and apply it
here https://defiancepc.trionworlds.com/c...m-voucher-flow (If you don't want to click the link go to Trion Worlds website > Sign in > Apply code) now you can log into the client without the error saying your account is not entitled.

Also, if you have already entered a valid cd key on your account then the "not entitled to play" message can be fixed by resetting your password.
