I can forgive the CGI for the story. If it does well, I am sure the budget will increase. Just look at Eureka before they decided to end it.

yes but atleast they gave Eureka a proper end. That's all I hope for really. For example Syfy killed off alphas (watched a few episodes but that's it) after 2 seasons and they left it on a cliffhanger ending. I would hate for that to happen to defiance.

tried that too and I would've bought the season from itunes but they haven't added it to my country's itunes :/

That would actually work if Syfy worked with Apple to release the series in itunes for all countries.
