I've not played a Trion game before but people on these forums seem to have a lot of good things to say about them re. listening to player feedback. Wouldn't be the hardest feature in the world to implement so I guess if they're aware it's an issue (and this thread is a perfect start to letting them know that), I wouldn't be surprised to see this feature appearing over the next few months.

I would expect so yeah. Since most games nowadays are using colour filters in the engine its not that hard for devs to add colourblind options to the settings page and put presets or a slider so users with varying degrees of CB can set it the way they like.

Yeah, I really hope to see some Color blind options in game, either simple symbols to help us determine what is what, and/or colorblind filters. Although I have to say I don't believe I was having too hard trouble determining whats what in this game... Though I could just be getting it all wrong O_o

I know a guy in chemicals, and he was complaining about the braille on medication boxes. His view was that it drastically increased the cost of packaging, and only a statistically small number of people benefited. Braille's still stamped into packaging, because people expressed a need, and folk in a position to change things agreed.

In short, I'm bumping this thread.
