OK PC is the winner. Steam bonuses are nice and Keyboard for the MMO aspect. Not to mention my PC is BADASS and will make it look amazing. I hope the community is strong and this isnt another MMO that falls on its face after the first 2 months.

I cant explain why I like shooters on consoles better. The thumbstick aiming is just more fun/comfortable for me. I know its not as elite and accurate but meh.

There isn't even a question. Pc is always the obvious answer (graphic options+) and you can use a controller with your pc. If you prefer the ps3 controller you can always get a rumble pad 2.

Other than the obvious the PC version can be had for $37 at g2play for the standard edition or $49.99 tax inc at cdkeysdiscount for the deluxe edition.

If you honestly have a good gaming rig I would go for the pc. But if you have a laptop that can barely run Defiance then I would go on console.

Steps to decide if you buy for PC or Console...

    1. Do you have more friends on: Console? Go to Step 3 OR PC? Go to Step 2

    2. Do you have a decent gaming PC? Go to Step 8 OR Is your gaming rig less than stellar? Go to Step 7

    3. Do most of your friends on the console plan to buy this game? Go to Step 6 OR Are you the only one that has heard of it? Go to Step 4

    4. You have chosen a console, welcome to the new age.

    5. You have chosen the tried and true PC, welcome back.

    6. Do most of your friends use voice chat on your console of choice? GO to Step 4 OR Are you the only one with a headset? Go to Step 7

    7. Will you have to buy additional PC components to enjoy the game? Go to Step 3 OR Can you get by with what you have? Go to Step 5

    8. Do most of your friends on the PC plan to buy this game? Go to Step 7 OR Are you the only one that has heard of it? Go to Step 4

    Hope that helps...

Hacks really? Come on... this isnt cod or bf3 its a mmo and due to that its tracked by the dev. much closer then some FPS.

As far as what to get... PC looks better, can rendermore with out being bogged down, much more easy to talk to people in chat due to keyboard vs quarty addon or game pad typeing.... on and it will look better.

So for my its PC all the way.

    1. Buy it on PC. If you do not own a PC go to step 2.

    2. Build a PC and repeat step 1. If you cannot afford this go to step 3.

    3. Buy the console version and invest into a PC later when it becomes a financially feasible option.

    Hope that helps...
    Fixed the tutorial.

One thing ppl should keep in mind is the updates and DLC's are going to take up alot of space on there consoles as the game grows. I would go PC for that reason alone, unless you are ok with filling up your hard drive with just Defiance.

I was thinking the same thing. I ended up going with the PC version since that's what I mainly game on these days anyways.
