PS3 Friend list confirmed PSN only =/

    Sigh,

Sledgehammer confirmed on the live stream the friends list is tied to your PSN in the full release. It is like this because it's a Sony rule is what he said. PSN friend list is capped at 100 people for ALL games.

This completely blows IMHO. I already have 100 people on my list that are on regularly, so now I either have to only chill with guildies or I guess try to remember people's PSN OR delete the people that I don't REALLY hang out with.

I don't even want to add everyone I meet to my PSN even if I could, should have definitely been a separate list...

This has me seriously not wanting to get it on this platform anymore, seems like it's gonna be a train wreck making "friends" might even impact how people play the game and might not be as social...

I am glad I put the pre-order down on PC too, might say f it and get PC version. Anyone else not liking this?

    Ugh.

That's not a psn rule unless its a new one. I have a ton of friends in dcuo and don't know or need a single psn. This is new to me

yeah they don't do that with DCUO or Dust 514. If that's true Sony is being biased.

Well crap...I guess I'll just trim my friend list then and have to play that way. I'm sure there are some I could get rid of but that's rather annoying to have to do so.

In the game Dcuo you can add a friend without having to add them to your actual psn friends list. Hopefully this works the same in defiance because I have no room for friends as well unless I delete some.....????

That's what Sledge said but you are right, there is a in-game friends list for DCUO sigh, perhaps it's new or they just couldn't do it I dunno what's up but this is not good news for us PS3 fans :/

If you go watch the live stream when they post it, I asked the question and had it answered around the mid way point I believe.

Pretty sure they have nothing to do with Defiance...

You can SAY anything. Maybe its just a hang up. It may get patched down the road doesnt hurt my urge to buy it for my ps3 its just a setback. I guess I'll just hang out with my clansmen

Being a ps3 user I'm not looking forward to having to add all the people I'll meet on defiance to my psn. No offense to them it's just a hassle and I have to delete psn friends if that the case. The friends list is Dcuo is so easy and accessible I love it.
