Hello all.
I'll give you a quick intro about us and how we came to be.
We are a relatively new clan with only a small number, (just over 20 at last count).
Some of us are an offshoot from our old clan whose leader has left Defiance and abandoned his clan along with it. As some had become good friends in that clan we decided we wanted to continue playing together and left the old one and New Frontier Rangers was born. Myself and Monkeyflasher with a couple others play daily and we are always happy to pretty much do anything or help anyone. Our other members play as frequently or infrequently as they like, we have no restrictions on activity and we find this makes everyone happy and keeps a happy atmosphere.
We have decided to do our first proper event as a clan and I decided I'd like to involve as many of the EU Xbox 360 community as would like to join the event.
Basically we are opening up the clan for the event for anyone to join to get the pursuits:
- Play Shadow War with 15 other clan members
- Do a major arkfall with 15 other clan members
- Play 5 complete PvP Matches with a full clan group
- Have 15 friends online simultaneously
No-one is obligated to stay in the clan afterwards, we are happy for you to join, get your pursuits and then leave again, all we ask is that you stick around for an hour so that we are able to maintain enough people online for anyone else joining to also receive the pursuits.
If you feel that after the event you wanted to stay you would be more than welcome, but again that is completely down to your own discretion.
We are aiming to have this event up and running on Tuesday night (6th August) at around 7PM GMT although this is a provisional time as we have no idea what kind of reaction or attendance to expect. If we have enough people wanting to take part and the time is a problem, we are more than happy to re-arrange the time/date to try and accommodate everyone although it is likely to remain in a GMT slot as most of our current members are GMT.
All we ask you to do for the duration of the event is the following:
- Please do not turn our clan chat into a trade channel, most people joining during the event will be here for the pursuits so it will make it easier to communicate with everyone.
- If possible, could you please use a mic or keyboard, that will make it much easier for us to communicate with you all and get everyone into the right shard.
- Please be respectful to everyone you speak to during the event, some members may just be guests joining for the event and we'd like to avoid any tension or unpleasantries.
- And most importantly please be patient if trying to join the event. This is the first time we've attempted an event on this scale so it will require a little time to get everyone organised and involved.

During the event we will be putting on more officers and asking our own to step up so we have all the people needed to send invites to get everyone in.
When the time for this comes, I will post an updated list of people you can request and invite from to speed up the process of being able to get in.
So on a closing note, please remember joining our clan is not mandatory, we are more than happy for you to join and get your pursuits and then leave again.
Please have a little patience with us during the event, this is the first time we are trying this so it will be a work in progress.
If this works out well, we will be more than happy to do it and others again in the future.
