Defiance Store Update...and I'm really trying not to swear!!!

It was the first time I watched the live stream thing to see the gun comment and I watched all of 2 mins of Don't you think this volge helmet is so cool matt, YES Elizabeth it looks great close up..

Seriously WTF it is a pre existing piece of armor built for one of the AI enemies that had some minor change in code made so it could be applied to player characters for who knows how many bits. I am not playing so no idea. It is lazy, hard to believe you or anyone else is THAT excited by a volge helmet and yes does no one listen to what people want.

I am the perfect example of an adult with active credit cards and extensive online shopping and in game purchasing history on xbox the kind of customer you want to have. Even if I come back to the game and play DLC content with friends I would never give another cent for a bit. The main reason and things I would have purchased:

- Boosts and or giifts to give to friends (When I paid for them and was not give them nor a response or an apology you just kept the money fine but you don't get more)
- Outfits that are more girly, imaginative, interchangeable items, customization items, more reasonable prices that what I can buy an entire DLC for another game for.
- Synergy mods so you do not need the stupid lock boxes
- Synergy mods in the vendor types also 100 rep for one random synergy mod and 2 weekly contracts in the off chance it might be one of the last 3 you are missing
- Some bad *** guns ones that look like actual guns and or gun customization skins

Either way volge helmets I never saw anyone ask for them it seems cheap and lazy.

Thanks for that Dominad, I know exactly where you are coming from...I've been holding back 800msp for the first DLC but it's been so long in coming that I'm seriously thinking, these days, of spending it on something else as I'm rapidly losing faith in the developers of this game which is a shame as it had such potential at the start.

Sorry to hear you don't play at the moment and I haven't seen Saminator on in ages either...A sign of things to come methinks!!!

Thanks for that Dominad, I know exactly where you are coming from...I've been holding back 800msp for the first DLC but it's been so long in coming that I'm seriously thinking, these days, of spending it on something else as I'm rapidly losing faith in the developers of this game which is a shame as it had such potential at the start.

If the test servers are not ready and it is inching closer to Sept for a release I have GTA on pre order its done then. I feel your frustration - trust me!!

And no I am n a break from the game. I am still around on the clan forum and doing boring geeky stuff in the background :P I saw Sam online yesterday and I know he has been hosting event with spit, grims, and some others. I posted in our leader thing I just needed a break from playing mainly because I do not want to keep leveling up my ego doing activities that have become way too repetitive. Along with all the patching and bugs. I have got through 2 games since then and am just having fun without the hassel's. I told Sam to give me a couple of weeks thinking it would be time for the DLC. We will see
I have noticed many friends are not playing as much now if at all and the ones that are started playing more recently.

Yeah, I don't see half as many of you Nuclear Rubber guys around as I used to. I'm replaying a few older games again while I wait for something new to catch my eye.

I just think it's sad that a lot of the original players seem to be getting pushed aside in an attempt to drag in new people, what with the recent price drop and such...I really feel for all those who bought the season pass as I feel they are going t end up with the short end of the stick. Sam built a massive clan at the start, you guys were everywhere and it's sad to see the numbers of original players drop off so quickly.

I probably only play a couple of times a week myself...You guys were a good bunch, generally speaking!!!

I kept ending up in phases by myself wondering why overpass was empty lol Then the exiled guys did a community event with fremasons and everyone was at top notch and peopel thought no one else was there but there were people there the whole time. Had a similar issue when I hosted a SW. Hoe long any older players can be maintained with this status quo though who knows I know there is some die hard people who will not give up till the day the servers close though.

I will come back in game for my friends and clan at DLC but if nothing changes before Sept I will probably just stay behind the scenes helping where I can and not playing again

"Older players" in a game that's been out a few months ..... it's laughable.

Maybe in a years time you can claim there are "older players" but in a game barely doing it's potty training it just sounds foolish.

I have a question for you...Your sig says 'programmer', so speaking as a programmer, how hard is it to create these outfits/skins. I mean, is it a big thing to create something new and we're all asking for too much or is it a simple thing and the devs are just suffering from a lack of imagination.

Older by definition is also relative to a state of time or an existence. So the length of something is relevant in this case "older" is in reference to people who have payed the game from an earlier date than those who just began. It is comparing the two groups current game activity. There was no reference meant to historical gaming; I hope that appeases you. We should have kept our convo to PM anyway but not like much goes on this late at night on the boards. Personally I do not see the point in playing games non stop for the rest of My life I prefer to have different things; I also thing Defiance has ruined My MMO experience never again.
