I'd say for me it depends on if we get that third race
with the season pass. if so I'll probably be whatever race that is and
then choose Veteran since I used Vet in the beta.

Survivalist ... gonna focus on sniper and shotty.
You do realise there are no classes, your initial choice does nothing more than determine your starting weapon which you will have replaced within 10 minutes of leaving the introduction area and a offers little background story to your avatar. You initial choice has no bearing at all on how you handle weapons, your weapon skill improves through continued use of that type, arkfall codes if you submitted them for the generic bonuses, and nothing more.
Mankind's greatest weakness, and greatest strength, hope.

Yeah. I guess they could have given some sort of faction bonus based on your choice, but it's cool. I wish there were more customizing options though. Faces, hairs, facial hairs, tattoos, etc. It would have also been nice to pick your origin, then have a choice of several outfits specific to that origin, so all Veterans don't start out looking the same.
Not entirely, there was a pic of an orange weapon a week ago that was class specific w/ some nice effects on it....and nothing more
So class will play a role, perhaps later in endgame gearing.
I'll see if I can dig it up.

Classes it's all about visual,i'm going for survivalist just because the explorer look of it and cloak all the way since cloak is one hell of a EGO power it save my hide many times over, specially vs raiders ambushes!Cloak,pump-shotgun(freanzy mutants) & heavy machine gun(all kind),sniper rifle (bosses, big hitters).
