Well i signed up for beta but iv already bought my UE Defiance, i know i wont have time for 2 MMos
And im assuming firefall is pc only.

I'm in a similar situation as others where I've simply got bored of the game. Firefall still has a long ways to go before I would consider it to be even close to an official release. There's potential, but it's not at all realized as of yet.
Edit: Ill extend the same offer to anyone else that's interested. I still have 4 more invites. I agree with Deathsdoll below though, don't go in expecting to see anything resembling a marketable product yet.

Only thing I know about Firefall is I was watching a review of Defiance on YouTube earlier and the guy mentioned Firefall. He said Defiance was better, for whatever that's worth.

I would argue that Defiance is more complete, but it isn't really fair to say one is better than the other, as they both have chosen to go in different directions for their gameplay. Which isn't to say there are no similarities.
Personally I feel that Firefall *could* be better than Defiance, but in Firefall's current state, Defiance is definitely better as of right now. The television series and its interaction with the game could sway things further into Defiance's favor as well.
I'm actually playing Firefall while waiting for Defiance. Firefall has a very cool concept and core design but the team behind it aren't taking things in the right direction. It gets very boring after a few hours and I don't see them changing much.

I'm not sure when this inbred batch of "Know nothings' will fade and die but there two different types of lag.
Most people that complain about lag are playing on something could be rivaled by a calculator or speak n spell. The other is when the SERVER is being worked, shutting down, or their ISP is having issues.
Game runs fantastic. The art is different, that is for sure. The original FPS crew that grew up with Quake, Hexxen, Doom, (ya know the games that gave birth the trash that is being played today) will love this game.
Plus it's free. You're welcome to buy a founder's pack to support the Red5 Dev team if you want.
Finally, something to note. This will be VERY HARD for some our youngsters here to grasp.
Firefall is a living, breathing Beta. The dev team is developing the game WITH THE COMMUNITY. You'll never find another company like it. Or another game like it.
there are many broken, incomplete things in Firefall. Overall, it's still fun, enough to do for a few hours a day. Updates come about every 3 weeks.
It's actually a MMOFPS... PC only of course. I advise everyone to try it. I will go back and forth between the two games. I did during open beta with defiance.. found myself playing FF more because well, it's got Jetpacks.
It's got a learning curve too, it's not easy to grasp so there are only a few players..
